Founded in May 2007, Space City LX was formed out of a desire to connect locally with people who met on the various forums supporting the 300, Charger, and Magnum. At the time the Challenger was not in production. Click here to see our original "Liftoff" back in May 28, 2007.
Why the name Space City? Simple... we wanted to acknowledge Houston's history and connection with the space program. Why LX? The 300, Charger, and Magnum are built on the LX Platform. The Challenger is built on a shortened LX platform called the LC.
Membership in Space City LX is open to the following vehicles:
Chrysler 300
Dodge Charger
Dodge Magnum
Dodge Challenger
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

Space City LX provides our members and their families an opportunity to take their vehicle ownership experience to levels they have never experienced before. We provide a way for members to exchange information with each other, to educate themselves, and to express their creativity with other like-minded enthusiasts.

All event attendees represent the Space City LX Modern Mopar and are asked to act according to the following guidelines. Please refrain from:
1. Loud music.
2. High/Excessive revving of your engine.
3. Burnouts or other exhibition of horsepower.
4. Reckless driving.
5. Behaviors that can be deemed obscene.
6. Excessive speed when traveling in a caravan group.
We understand that members often ask other members to hear an engine or exhaust. In the future, please talk to a member of the Leadership Team to discuss how a request like this can be accommodated.
These guidelines are in place to maintain the reputation of Space City LX as club that respects our surroundings and our members conduct themselves in a professional manner.
As a member of this great club, we ask that you help the entire Management Team (Leadership Team, Club Planners, AC, and AAC) enforce these zero-tolerance guidelines.
