You will get 2 hp/tq pulls for $30, pay ARD directly.

There will be a BBQ available, if you want to bring something to cook.

If so, do they Diablo tune !?!? All I hav is a ported intake manifold, airhammer intake and some mufflers...stock headers and cats...

They can , although we will not be doing this on the day of the event. Right now for the price you get two power pulls measuring tq and horse power. There won't be alot of time between vehicles.

I am sure they could set something up with you, though.

awesome. i didn't see this post till just now.

i wonder how much hp/tq they can pick up over the canned tune from the Diablo with the same mods.

i did something similar to my STi. had a Cobb "canned tune" and then went to ENgine Logics to have it protuned. they picked up 23hp and 28tq just with a dyno tune.

Can u help a girl out? What is Dyno Day?

Its a calibrated machine that has a set of rollers and a computer.....you drive your car onto the rollers and they strap it down....an operator will then plug the computer into your car and take it through a series of full power runs (your car drives the rollers) it calculates the power at the wheels (the calculated power they have at the rollers, which is less than what the engine produces as it has to drive the gearbox, propshaft, rear differential and drive shafts) then on the run down it can calulate all those losses and give you an actual engine power output (flywheel rated output) so you can see how well things are performing.

You get a graph of Brake Horse Power and Torque, then if you change something, air filter, oil grade, spark plugs, camshaft etc.....you can re-dyno it and see the effect!

Its more complex than that, but im not clever enough to describe it all!

Its a matter of choice.....if you have a standard car with no modifications then it may be interesting to see how its performing against the factory specs. As with all things mechanical, a certain amount of wear and tear, things don't perform like they did when new. At the price we ar getting the dyno day for, its well worth a go I think....

we are not doing any tuning that day -- just 2 dyno pulls per car for folks to get a deeper look into their power #'s,etc.
